The Southeast Division Sports Car Club of America ( SEDiv SCCA) is one of nine SCCA Divisions. SEDiv is composed of 19 regions beginning in central Virginia and going south to the Florida Keys and west to middle Tennessee and all of Alabama. The SEDiv has the preeminent road racing series in SCCA, the South Atlantic Championship Race ( SARRC) series, a series that draws more than 3500 entries every year. The SARRC series annual race championship begins in mid October each year and concludes with the SARRC Invitational Championship ( SIC) the following year in early October. Each racing Region schedules races throughout the year. Race tracks hosting the SARRC series include Homestead Miami Speedway, Palm Beach International Speedway, Sebring, Daytona International Speedway, Roebling Road, Road Atlanta, Barber Motorsport Park, Carolina Motor Sport Park, Charlotte Motor Speedway and Virginia International Raceway.

One of the great things about the SARRC series is there is no fee to join the series. You will automatically receive points for the SARRC series provided your SCCA region of record is in SEDiv. The only requirements for drivers and cars is that the car must have SARRC series decals on each side of the car and the driver must have a SARRC patch attached to the breast area of the drivers suit. SARRC points are awarded to all SCCA classes and SEDiv regional only classes. Points are 25 for a win all the way down to 1 point for 20th position. Drivers can count their best six race finishes for the SARRC Championship. In addition, any driver who has entered three SARRC races is eligible to attend the SIC. The SIC is a double points race and the points are added to the regular season points to determine the year end champion in each class.

Drivers winning the championship each year will receive a plaque, a monogrammed jacket, t shirts, a gear bag, hats, decals for the car, patches for your suit and two free tickets to the SEDiv annual awards banquet held at St Simons in January of every year. The SARRC championship is one of the most coveted awards in SCCA. In addition to the season championship, each driver is given a decal for each regular season race win at each race.
